INTERNSHIPSOverviewOur Internship Program provides a custom-tailored educational opportunity for each and every student. Each internship is designed with your supervisor to fit your learning objectives. Interns are assigned to the Company's best people to ensure that the experience builds a broad leadership perspective. Past projects included hands-on shift supervision, the development of sales forecasting models, beverage and dessert analyses, site selection recommendations, training curriculum development, customer service measurement and analysis, and crew hiring proposals.
Management InternshipsThe success of our Company is based on our ability to provide excellent guest service to our guests. This would be impossible without an outstanding leadership team. Our management internships are designed to teach the basics of operational leadership by providing interns with a hands-on opportunity to learn our business.You will meet with your supervisor to select a summer-long project that meets your educational goals, as well as the needs of the Company. Then you'll begin a modified manager-in-training program that includes interactive classroom instruction and pairing with strong managers. Four weeks are spent with a Division team to learn more about the business. The last weeks of the Internship Program are designated for completion of your project. In the final week of your internship, your supervisor will help prepare you for the Internship Conference and will provide you with an in-depth evaluation of your contribution over the course of the summer.
Corporate InternshipsCorporate internships are located at our headquarters in Indianapolis and are available in the following departments:
Internship ConferenceThe Internship Program culminates with the Intern Conference, a two-day program hosted at our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis. During this high-profile event, interns present their summer projects, make recommendations to the Company's leadership, interact with senior management, have dinner with the Chairman of the Board and attend sessions that are designed to enhance each intern's professional growth and development.Click here to review testimonials from former interns in our Company.
